The Quinella Method is a structured, immersive mediation approach designed for complex, high-stakes conflicts where relationships, reputation, and future cooperation matter as much as the outcome.
It is built on five core principles.
Neutral Space. Full Confidentiality.
Conflict is not only about unmet needs, emotional tension, difficult conversations, or escalating aggression.
Conflict always lives in an environment.
It unfolds in offices, email threads, familiar routes, habitual settings, and social circles where emotions are constantly reinforced. When people remain in their usual surroundings, they continue to “breathe the air of conflict.” Emotions become fuel for its continuation.
That is why the Quinella Method deliberately removes the conflict from its habitual environment and relocates it to a neutral, safe, and confidential space.
In the Quinella Method, the parties invest their time, attention, and energy entirely in themselves and in resolving the conflict.
We create all the necessary conditions for this focus:
Only when basic needs are met — sleep, security, nutrition — can a person truly concentrate on understanding their interests and making meaningful
In the Quinella Method, mediators work in a tandem.
Two mediators, fully focused on one conflict, create a 360-degree overview of the situation and a multidimensional approach to working with the parties.
The power of tandem-mediation lies in synergy.
Together, mediators see more, hear more, and notice what might escape a single perspective.
Tandem-mediation is not only a professional tool — it is also a symbol of equilibrium and trust.
The Quinella Method strictly follows the stages aligned with the principles of the Harvard Negotiation School.
4.1 Separate the People from the Problem
Emotions are acknowledged and worked through.
The other person is not the enemy — the conflict is.
The parties unite against the real opponent.
Victory means resolving the conflict and reaching a mutually beneficial agreement.
4.2 Focus on Interests, Not Positions
Positions often serve as emotional protection.
People cling to them because rejecting a position can feel like rejecting the person.
But positions are replaceable.
Interests and values are not.
When true interests are identified, positions can change without threatening identity or dignity.
4.3 Generate Options Before Deciding
In a neutral and calm environment, creativity peaks.
The parties first generate multiple options without judgment or alignment to sides.
Only afterward are ideas analyzed:
This sequence unlocks solutions that are impossible under pressure.
4.4 Reality Check and Objective Standards
Every agreement must be realistic.
We test it against objective criteria:
An agreement passes this stage naturally when the previous principles are respected.
Our work does not end with the signing of the mediation agreement.
The second mile means continued support during implementation:
Step by step, mediation through the Quinella Method leads to transformation.
You resolve not only a specific conflict while preserving relationships and reputation - you gain a new way of seeing conflict itself.
You learn to:
Manipulation loses its power.
You observe it calmly, explain why it does not work, and clearly articulate what does.
Because now, you truly understand interests.
